You never know what you're going to get. I place, awesome views, cool couple...lots of drone shots, outdoor photo session, not wet all day, normal hopes I have for these couples. Nope. This was a wet one. It was raining all day long. And we found ways to keep it fun and interesting. The venue was cool and had a dark wine cellar. Tough to get to, but Kirsten was a champ. The way the reception was set up was spectacular. They had flowers, candles, backdrops, you name it. It was beautiful. So your mind drifted away from the rain and turned to the story of two doctors, who found each other and decided to be together for the rest of their lives. I was lucky enough to film the groom's sisters wedding a few years back and I love that because you get to feel like family with half the crowd, but in this case, both sides really made me and my crew feel like they loved us. Thats a special thing.
